Patch Personnel has been engaged by an established Engineering Services Company which has clients across the ever-growing Energy and Resources sector. An opportunity is available for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team located at their offices in Brisbane CBD, 4000.
This Company has a wide client base across oil & gas, utilities, as well as the renewables space, and is a trusted partner to provide solutions from small to large scales of operation alike.
Reporting to the Discipline Lead and /or the Engineering Manager, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, as well being a in a senior role, you will have opportunity to mentor and guide a few of the junior/graduate Process Engineers within the team. This position will enable you to work a range of projects and provide variety in your day-to-day interactions.
Role Responsibilities
- Participating in meetings with stakeholders i.e. Client-side, Contractors, and Design Consultants, as and when required
- Preparation of engineering documentation such as reports and specifications
- Ensuring that the highest level of quality is produced as defined by the Client
- Working in accordance with all Company policies, plans, operating procedures standards and procedures
- Perform processing engineering tasks, in accordance with deliverables and the budget as set by your reporting manager
- Demonstrate and encourage within the Team, a positive mindset which is collaborative and can facilitate “break-through” solutions
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Process / Chemical Engineering, or similar
- Demonstrated experience in a previous Process Engineering position, ideally in a Major Hazardous Facility
- RPEQ accreditation would be highly sought after, or the ability to gain accreditation for it
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to liaise across the organisation internally, as well as to external stakeholders i.e. the Client
- The ability to anticipate problem areas and initiate actions in preparedness to ensure a positive project momentum is in place
