Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Service Advisor (TSA) to join our dynamic team. The TSA will play a crucial role in delivering high-level technical information and support to our Division and its customers within the mining sector. This position serves as the key contact for our branch regarding equipment/system performance and trend analysis, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical information and support to the Division and its customers within the mining sector, addressing and resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive equipment/system performance and trend analysis to identify potential improvements and ensure optimal functionality.
  • Interface Role: Act as the primary interface between the Factory (LME/LEC) and other service and support functions within the business, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their technical needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose technical problems and determine appropriate solutions, providing guidance and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and trend analyses, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance technical support services and processes.


  • Proven experience in a technical support or advisory role, preferably within the mining sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed performance and trend analyses.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Knowledge of mining-related systems/equipment is highly desirable.

Required Certifications:

  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, or
  • Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter, or
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology (HV), or
  • Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology
