Well Test Supervisor – Onshore | Developing or Experienced
 
Patch Personnel have partnered with a specialist oilfield services company to source a Well Test Supervisor to join their team on a highly sought-after 15 days on, 13 days off rotation, supporting onshore oil and gas operations.
 
This position represents a career-defining opportunity to lead well test operations across exploration, appraisal, and development wells in some of Australia’s most active onshore basins. You’ll work alongside a respected crew delivering quality data and performance to support critical reservoir and production decisions.
 
The primary responsibility of the Well Test Supervisor is to oversee all phases of onshore surface well testing — including equipment mobilisation, rig-up, flow periods, sampling, demobilisation, and job close-out. You will lead wellsite crews, manage day-to-day operational interfaces, and ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with client procedures.
 
This role will suit an experienced Well Test Supervisor, or a strong Senior Operator ready to step into a supervisory role and continue building their career within a supportive and technically strong team.
 
 
To be successful in this position you will need to have:

• Proven experience in onshore surface well testing, including clean-ups, flowbacks, and extended well tests
• Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multi-discipline wellsite crews
• Strong understanding of well test equipment: separators, surge tanks, burners, sand filters, flare systems
• Competency in pressure control, sampling, data acquisition and test optimisation
• Current industry training for onshore operations
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach with a solid track record of field leadership and operational performance

This is a contract position paid as a generous daily rate with the view to permanency.  All travel, accommodation, meals and field support are provided.
